This industrial machine forms repeatable pleats in continuous textile or nonwoven material. Common sourcing terms include fabric pleating machine, computerized pleater, textile pleating machine, accordion pleating machine and curtain pleating machine.
The computer control system allows the operator to set pleat direction, pitch and pattern sequence. It is intended for compatible synthetic fabrics, blended fabrics, nonwovens and other heat-settable materials, subject to sample testing. Typical outputs include straight, accordion, wave and decorative pleats.
Material loading and alignment → parameter/pattern setting → controlled feeding → mechanical pleat forming with heat setting → pleated-web discharge.
Process boundary: this machine forms pleats in supplied material. Fabric cutting, sewing, eyelet installation, finished-curtain assembly and packaging are not included. Pleat retention depends on material composition, thickness, temperature and process trials; compatibility must be confirmed with the buyer’s sample.
