This automatic heat shrink film packaging machine applies shrink film around individual products or grouped bundles for retail, transport and protective packaging. A complete shrink-packaging solution normally combines film wrapping or sealing with controlled heat shrinking, but the exact configuration must be selected for the product and film.

Process Boundary

This system wraps or seals compatible shrink film around prepared products and shrinks the film in a heated tunnel when that tunnel is included in the confirmed configuration. It does not manufacture the product or film. Product grouping, tray loading, labeling, inspection, cartoning and case packing require separate confirmed modules.

Machine Selection

The correct system depends on whether the product requires full enclosure, sleeve wrapping or grouped bundling; whether products enter manually or automatically; and the shrink characteristics of the selected film. Film compatibility, sealing temperature and tunnel settings must be tested before production.
